My Little Boy

Ok, so I am the biggest idiot ever. Gordon's parents wanted to fly him and Lyndon out to California this holiday weekend and I (not wanting to spoil anyone else's fun) said YES, grrrrrrrrr (shame on me!) I had no idea how hard it would be and I vow right now that we will never be apart for another holiday; at least Gordon and me, and I will cherish all the holidays to come with Lyndon knowing one day he will grow up and have a family of his own. Anyway, I miss them soooo much. Here's a little photo I snapped of Lyndon a few nights ago. He is so special to me and this Thanksgiving I am especially grateful for him. He's smart and he makes me laugh and I just know he is going to do great things!

So next month Gordon and I will have been married for 5 years, so I thought I would pull out some of our wedding pictures. I am so lucky to have married my best friend. Honestly we didn't really know each other long enough to be bffs when we got married, 3 months, but he is my world now and we grow closer and closer everyday. I love him so much, he is the greatest man I know and he's perfect for me (that's what really counts!) He's my biggest fan and supports me 100% (for that I am truely grateful.) Whenever I am down he picks me up, he is constantly thinking of me and I know that because of all the little kind things he does. I am so proud of him for sticking with school through all the rough times when I know he wanted to just quit. He always does what it takes and I am grateful that I can rely on him. He is the worlds greatest Dad, you can see it in Lyndon's eyes how much he loves his Daddy. And Gordon never complains about changing diapers or taking care of him, he calls it "guy time." I love you honey!!!!!!!!

I used to be more of an artist, I drew all the time but haven't for a long time now. (I painted some murals in my room when I was 16 and my Mom hasn't painted over them, yet!)

I love dancing! My swing partner and I got second place in a "Jitter Bug" competition!

I had so much fun doing this wedding this past weekend with Melissa. It has been a while since I have assisted in a wedding and I really enjoyed it!

Happy Halloween

For those of you who don't know, it is near impossible for me to get a good picture of Lyndon... and believe me I've tried. Mostly what I end up with is the back of his head, sometime his profile if I am lucky, but the majority of the time they are blurred because HE IS ALWAYS MOVING!!!!!!!! So, I tried enlisting the help of our friends, the Bairds, and we did a little better tonight for halloween. Lyndon is a huge football fan so he was pretty excited when I put him in his costume.








Important: No, we are not really Aggie fans, but I just happened to find this uniform and it was perfect for him... GO LONG HORNS!!!!!!
